Table Discipline
Encourage Table Discipline
Encouraging players to respect the basic table discipline rules will considerably extend the performance of your cloth and table - maintaining the appearance of both. Rules help reduce loutish and disrespectful behaviour, encouraging a more welcoming & courteous enviroment.
- Do not spin coins or drop heavy objects on table.
- Do not chalk cues over table. Dust builds and acts as an abrasive.
- Replace cues or tips that are badly fitted or have shard edges.
- Do not use worn or damaged balls.
- Avoid excessively powerful shots.
- Do not eat or drink over the table.
- Do not sit or leave cues on the playing surface
- Do not smoke over the table.
"To avoid cloth damage at points of regular ball contact always use a racking cloth to rack balls and use quality spot markings, replacing any missing ones."
