Any Enterprise Inns pub with a pool table can register for free and take advantage of the sites basic features including their own pubs homepage, tournament diary and news features.

Every player can define their local pool area and create their own unique homepage that only displays information relevant to them. This service is totally free to players.

Any site user can submit details of pool tournaments and fun pool events from the homepage of the pub concerned. They must first obtain permission and a password from the licensee before information can be submitted; this is to stop any possible abuse. These tournaments and fun events will be added to the tournament diary and can be displayed locally, regionally or nationally, depending on the type of tournament.

Licensees can submit up to four promotions at anyone time, such as 'Happy Hour - 6 - 8pm on Tuesdays' or 'Free Pool on Thursdays'. These promotions appear on local players homepages in a special scrolling box and within search results. They also appear on the pubs 'Bulletin Board'.

Registered players can nominate their favourite venues and receive messages from them in a special scrolling message box, displayed within the player's homepage. This allows venues to send special messages and promotions to their customers.

Users can submit national or regional news stories via the main homepage for our approval before publishing. Venue and local news can be submitted via the venues homepage. Either the licensee or an authorised user (such as a team captain) may submit news from a venues homepage using a password - this is a security measure to stop any possible site abuse.

Licensees can subscribe to Pool Pockets and get access to all the site features plus a host of additional benefits, to help grow their business through pool. Full membership allows licensees to let the pool community know what's happening in their venue and target specific players by area. Some benefits incluce:

Registered pubs get their own admin area where they can easily manage their pubs homepage, tournaments, fun pool events, news, pub diary and pub promotions etc. When a pub becomes a full Pool Pocket member, all facilities on the admin page will become available to them.

Users can manage their leagues online and create new ones quickly and easily, using Pool Pockets exclusive league management software. All site users can go to the league section to view or print results, fixtures and tables. Pubs web pages are linked to the league table, so players can click from the results to the pub and vice versa.
